What you can do
Review available regional placement and follow the status of a location change. Where to find it: Data controls → Data locationBefore you start
- Permission to view placement; appropriate authority for changes.
- An available region offered for your workspace.
Steps
1
Open Data location and review the current placement and available destinations.
2
Read what the destination covers, including stored content, files and any separate external processing limitations.
3
Select only an available region. Review the change’s impact and confirmation before starting it.
4
Follow migration status and any actionable failure. Avoid making another conflicting location change while one is active.
5
After completion, confirm the reported active placement. Contact Support with the operation reference if it needs recovery or operator intervention.
Example
An administrator checks whether a required region is actually offered before making a data-location commitment to a customer.Things to know
- A region that lacks the required infrastructure remains unavailable.
- Storage location does not automatically describe every external AI or channel provider’s processing location.
- Internal backup restoration is operated by StackShift; customers should not run infrastructure recovery commands.
What happens next
Your selection corresponds to an available infrastructure-backed placement and its recorded operation status.
