What you can do

Give customers a searchable place to find answers before contacting your team. Where to find it: Knowledge → Articles, Manage and Access

Before you start

  • A brand and permission to manage knowledge.
  • A list of common questions your customers ask.

Steps

1
Open Knowledge and select or create the centre for your brand and environment.
2
Choose its default language and the additional languages you will maintain.
3
Create collections for clear subjects such as Getting started, Orders and Account help. Arrange parent collections and their order.
4
Choose who can read each collection: public visitors, signed-in customers or internal staff. Review Access for any group restrictions.
5
Create your first article and check the customer-facing centre before sharing its link. Keep internal collections out of public navigation.

Example

A retailer creates public delivery and returns collections, plus an internal collection for staff handling disputed orders.

Things to know

  • A centre is the whole help library; a collection is a folder of related articles.
  • Do not place secrets or staff-only procedures in a public collection.

What happens next

Customers can browse an organized help centre, while restricted content stays limited to its intended audience.

If something goes wrong

  • No centre: create one for the current brand/environment or ask an administrator for access.
  • Customer cannot read an article: check publication, collection visibility, locale and any group restriction.
