What you can do

Share a product update with the intended customer audience. Where to find it: Engagement → Announcements

Before you start

  • Engagement author access and publication permission for release.

Steps

1
Create an announcement draft with a clear title and content.
2
Choose its audience and the available publication or delivery settings.
3
Preview its wording and links as a customer, including each language you provide.
4
Submit any required review, then publish or schedule it through the offered controls.
5
Review its state and audience results. Update or withdraw outdated information through the available lifecycle actions.

Example

Announce a new export feature with a link to its guide and an explanation of who can use it.

Things to know

  • Announcements are customer communication; internal staff notes belong in conversations or team workflows.
  • Publication permission is separate from permission to write a draft.

What happens next

Customers see an intentional product update rather than an unfinished draft.

If something goes wrong

  • Publish blocked: review required fields, approval and your role.
  • Customer cannot see it: check audience, schedule and current announcement state.

Create targeted campaigns and in-product guidance

Show timely messages, tours, checklists or surveys to the right audience.

Control consent, quiet hours and message limits

Prevent engagement from interrupting customers or sending too frequently.
