What you can do
Let AI request allowed business actions and have the right person approve sensitive work. Where to find it: AI → Action review; connected app actions in a conversationBefore you start
- A connected business tool with the required permissions.
- An applicable procedure or action policy and a reviewer with approval authority.
Steps
1
Open the pending action and inspect the customer, connected account, action and exact input values.
2
Check the evidence that links this customer to the external record. Do not rely on a similar email or name alone.
3
Approve only the action you intend, or reject it with a reason. Some sensitive actions require a different person from the requester.
4
Inspect the result after dispatch. A completed request should have an action outcome or receipt.
5
If the result is unknown, check the external service or reconciliation status before attempting the action again.
Example
A refund request shows the original payment, amount and currency; a second authorized staff member checks and approves it.Things to know
- Permission to read a payment is different from permission to request or approve a refund.
- Approval applies to the reviewed request; changing its amount or target requires review again.
- A timeout does not prove an action failed.
What happens next
An action is performed only within its granted scope and approval policy, with a result your team can inspect.
