</Note>

## What you can do

Show timely messages, tours, checklists or surveys to the right audience. Where to find it: Engagement → Campaigns

## Before you start

* An audience segment and engagement author access.
* Publication permission and working delivery channels or an installed product integration.

## Steps

<Steps>
  <Step>
    Create a draft campaign and choose its service or marketing purpose.
  </Step>

  <Step>
    Choose the experience: banner, announcement, tooltip, tour, checklist, survey or targeted message. Write the content and language versions.
  </Step>

  <Step>
    Select the audience, channels and web or mobile targets. For a tour or tooltip, have your product developer confirm the target mapping in the installed integration.
  </Step>

  <Step>
    Set timing, expiry, re-entry and completion criteria. Preview who is included or excluded and review the reasons.
  </Step>

  <Step>
    Follow the review and publish controls. After launch, inspect results and pause or cancel the campaign if its audience or content needs correction.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Example

A checklist guides new customers through setup; completing the specified event marks their progress.

## Things to know

* Saving a draft does not send it.
* A campaign cannot display in a website or mobile app that has not integrated the required client behavior.
* Marketing and service messages can have different consent and delivery rules.

## What happens next

<Check>
  Eligible customers receive the configured experience when targeting, consent and delivery conditions are satisfied.
</Check>

## If something goes wrong

<Warning>
  * Nothing appears: check campaign state, schedule, segment, target mapping, consent and limits.
  * Unexpected repeat: review re-entry and completion settings.
</Warning>
