# Save, export and schedule reports

> Reuse a report and share its permitted results in a useful file format.

<Note>
  This guide includes features awaiting release. If an option is not available in your workspace, contact StackShift Support.
</Note>

## What you can do

Reuse a report and share its permitted results in a useful file format. Where to find it: Analytics → Saved reports, Exports and Schedules

## Before you start

* Report access; export or schedule permissions where required.

## Steps

<Steps>
  <Step>
    Save a report with a name that describes its metric and audience.
  </Step>

  <Step>
    Open the saved report and check its current filters before exporting.
  </Step>

  <Step>
    Choose an available CSV, XLSX or JSON export. Wait for the export to finish and download it before its link expires.
  </Step>

  <Step>
    For recurring reports, create a schedule with the report, timezone, local time, weekdays and format. Review its delivery settings before enabling it.
  </Step>

  <Step>
    Check export or schedule history after the first run. Disable a schedule that is no longer needed.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Example

Schedule the weekly inbox report for the team’s Monday review in the team’s timezone.

## Things to know

* An expired download can require a new export.
* Export permission and current access still apply; a saved report does not preserve access you later lose.

## What happens next

<Check>
  You can retrieve a consistent report without rebuilding its query each time.
</Check>

## If something goes wrong

<Warning>
  * Export failed: read its result and check scope and permissions.
  * Schedule ran at the wrong local time: inspect its timezone and local-time setting.
</Warning>
